Experian Comes to Blore
Experian has partnered with Perot Systems to set up a dedicated software
development center at Bangalore. The facility would become one of the major
global centers for Experian to build new products and services for its clients
around the world.
Animation City in Hydbad
The AP government is planning to set up Indias first Digital Entertainment
City in Hyderabad. The city will house animation and gaming companies, film
production houses, music and TV studios, training academies, regulation support
office and an entertainment complex.
WNS Center in Bucharest
WNS has launched its new delivery center in Bucharest. The 150-seater facility
would provide multi-lingual services in French, German, Italian, and Spanish for
clients across a range of industries. The center would serve as a nearshore
delivery center for global clients with European operations.
Lockheed India Subsidiary
Lockheed Martin has announced the opening of its India subsidiaryLockheed
Martin India. The fully owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Global would
represent the interests of all the operating systems of Lockheed Martin in
India.
The company appointed Douglas A Hartwick as chief executive officer of the
India subsidiary. Hartwick takes over from Royce Caplinger, who completed two
years as managing director. DreamWorks to set up Animation Studio
DreamWorks Animation has tied up with digital video technologies company
Technicolor/Thomson to launch a world-class animation studio in Bangalore. The
new studio in Bangalore would work with the other global sites in San Francisco
and California on animated feature films in future, said DreamWorks executive
producer, Joe Aguilar to the media. DreamWorks parent company Paprikaas, in
which Thomson holds a controlling stake, said that an additional pool of 250
artists would be hired in the new studio during the next eighteen months.
