Patni to Launch Biz Center in Mexico



Patni Computer Systems has launched its new state-of-the-art IT business center
in Queretaro, Mexico.This expands Patnis global delivery initiative and serve

as the hub of the companys expansion efforts in Latin American markets. Patni

is moving from its temporary facility into a permanent location in a high-rise

building at ITESM Technological Park of Tech de Monterrey. The new center

occupies 11,000 sq ft on two floors in ITESM Technological Park, more than eight

times the capacity of its temporary location. It currently employs forty people

in Queretaro. The company has plans to increase employment in the local facility

to 200 by the end of 2010, with the bulk of the new hires coming from the local

area.

MphasiS Opens Pune GCC Center



MphasiS has launched its Global Command and Control Center (GCCC) in Pune.The
center further expands MphasiS infrastructure outsourcing capability and will

extend services to customers in India and global markets including the US,

Europe, and Asia Pacific Japan.The GCCC is an integrated infrastructure

outsourcing services platform delivering remote infrastructure monitoring (RIM)

Services. This includes seamless remote monitoring of IT infrastructure,

security and network operations located worldwide.

Facebook Hiring in India



Facebook is investing in India by opening an office in Hyderabad. The social
networking major has said that in the new center it would build a world-class

team to support its growing number of users, advertisers and developers. As part

of the expansion, it would recruit a small initial team in Hyderabad. The social

networking giant, headquartered in Palo Alto, the US, has more than 8 mn users

in India. The company has more than 400 mn active users worldwide. Facebook had

also announced its plans to open an office in Austin, Texas, and plan to hire

employees to fill online sales and operations posts for both offices.
