Comparatively higher employee satisfaction saw EXL services notching up a
better position than last year. The second best in the industry, only 13.3%
employees said that they would opt out of their job for a 20% hike offered by a
reputed competitor. 91.1% said that the infrastructure of the company was good
and made their work a whole lot easier.
The responsiveness to employee suggestions was 75.6% and 68.9% felt that the
company's policies were open and transparent. Personal lives of employees had
however, suffered; as against the industry average of 56.5%, only 40% said that
they found adequate time to spare for leisure activities. Training was another
key area, where the workforce was unhappy about the number of days and the
quality of training.
Employees were also dissatisfied with the transparency in the appraisal
system and only 51.1% felt that the appraisal parameters were well thought out
and relevant.

On the upside, only 2.2% (ranked first), EXL employees felt that
working in the company was a short tem opportunity for them. 31.1% of EXL
employees ranked it as the preferred employer.
