Phenom, an AI-driven global talent experience company, recently organized its first IAMPHENOM India conference at the Trident Hotel in Hyderabad. The event brought together over 500 HR professionals, CXOs, and CHROs to discuss the role of AI and automation in reshaping talent acquisition, management, and retention.

The conference was inaugurated by D. Sridhar Babu, Minister of IT, E&C, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana. In his address, he emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to prepare India’s workforce for the future, aligning with the nation’s economic goals.

Sharing his insights, he remarked: “Our vision is to make Telangana a USD $1 trillion economy in the next decade. Key drivers of this transformation include a strong focus on emerging sectors like AI semiconductors and quantum computing. To support this growth, we are focused on talent development through initiatives like Young India Skills University. We want our workforce to be trained and future ready. Organisations like Phenom, a unicorn from Hyderabad, are pivotal in building smarter workplaces and enabling individuals perform to their full potential.”

Keynote sessions featured insights from prominent leaders, including Phenom’s CEO and Co-founder Mahe Bayireddi, who spoke about AI’s transformative impact on HR and workforce productivity. Padma Bhushan awardee and Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra shared his perspective on mental resilience and fostering talent, while environmental advocate Anand Malligavad highlighted sustainable community practices.
