Mysuru may get PCB park soon

The Karnataka Chief Minister's ambitious plan to add 500 new GCCs by 2029 further solidifies the vision of scaling GCCs in the Beyond Bengaluru clusters.

During an industry breakfast meeting with the Hon'ble CM , Hon'ble Dy CM and Minister. Karnataka, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, CEO, KDEM, said: "The Honorable Chief Minister’s vision to make Bengaluru the go-to destination for solving global challenges is perfectly aligned with the city’s strengths in IT, innovation, and R&D. With over 18,000 startups and 50 unicorns Bengaluru is already shaping India’s entrepreneurial future.

"The Chief Minister's ambitious plan to add 500 new GCCs by 2029 further solidifies our vision of scaling GCCs in the Beyond Bengaluru clusters. Karnataka's upcoming IT policy, new initiatives to build multiple CoEs and global innovation hubs will play a pivotal role in realizing this vision, and driving the state towards a $20 billion quantum economy by 2035." 

Ashok Chandak, President of IESA & SEMI India, noted: "IESA members are making a significant contribution to advancing Karnataka’s ESDM sector. Through our alliance with SEMI, we are set to bring global visibility to Karnataka’s electronics and semiconductor initiatives. 

"We have recommended to the Government of Karnataka to expedite the PCB Park in Mysuru, support IESA’s STARTUP Mitra initiative, allocate dedicated R&D funding, expedite electronics components projects and more -- all aimed at accelerating innovation, manufacturing, and value creation in the state.”
