At GTC Taipei 2025, Compal Electronics announced that it has launched its CGA-QX computing platform, driven by Nvidia CUDA-Q Solvers library and Compal GPU Annealer, which has been adopted by Quantum Taiwan Program sponsored by National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). This platform aims to accelerate the development of quantum computing applications.

Compal is devoted to developing and promoting various computer technologies, especially accelerated computing driven by Nvidia. In the real world, there are various optimization problems that require extensive and complex calculations. Quantum computing can solve optimization problems more quickly and effectively than traditional computing methods. 

Using Compal's CGA-QX platform, researchers can leverage the Compal GPU Annealer for large-scale quantum-inspired algorithm computations, and utilize CUDA-Q Solvers to compute complex quantum programs, enabling in-depth analysis to accelerate the development of useful algorithms and push the boundaries of quantum computing exploration.

Eric Peng, Executive VP of Compal, stated that the CGA-QX is a cutting-edge quantum computing platform that leverages CUDA-Q's GPU-accelerated quantum computing simulation capabilities to effectively solve various optimization problems faced by industry.

For example, in the biomedical field, CGA-QX can accelerate the analysis and calculation of protein-ligand interactions, accurately predict and screen candidate compounds, and significantly improve the success rate of biological experiments. Now Compal is collaborating with MacKay Memorial Hospital to enhance the success rate of clinical tumor treatments.
