Jensen Huang.
Jensen Huang, President and CEO, Nvidia, has made 10 predictions for the future of AI, robotics, and global technology.
He said that everything that moves will be robotics in the future. Robots will be everywhere -- from hospitals to factories. Every industrial company will need an AI factory and a machine factory. A lot of us will become even more busier, because of AI. Huang looked forward to having a four-day work week, but thought that AI will make us even busier.
The predictions are:
China market challenges and opportunities: Huang has described China as a “50 billion dollar AI opportunity" this year, with the potential to grow by 50%, if restrictions ease.
Agentic AI to drive massive compute demand: The next stage of AI will move beyond simple chatbots and text generators into agentic AI.
Robotics as the next multi-billion market: Huang envisions every industrial company running two factories -- one traditional and one populated by AI-powered robots.
A trillion-dollar AI infrastructure boom: Huang compares the rise of AI infrastructure to the industrial revolution, with Nvidia positioned as the central suppliers of the “machines of intelligence.”
Hyperscalers continue AI spending surge: As long as hyperscalers continue expanding, Nvidia will remain the supplier of choice for advanced compute platforms.
Nvidia’s holistic advantage over rivals: Rivals now face almost insurmountable barriers to entry because Nvidia has already built the foundation for an AI economy.
Networking and connectivity as core growth drivers: Huang expects them to grow even faster as AI models demand more seamless and efficient global connectivity.
Record-breaking financial momentum: Nvidia’s financial trajectory proves that demand for AI will keep accelerating as businesses integrate intelligent systems across all industries.
Robotics and AI ecosystem expansion: By embedding itself in every industry, Nvidia aims to make its hardware and software indispensable to the future of automation and intelligent machines.
Long-term market leadership secured: AI set to transform every aspect of life and Nvidia poised to supply the critical infrastructure that powers it all.
India roadmap for 7nm chips
Elsewhere, according to reports, a senior official at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has confirmed the long-term plan for semiconductors.
He said: “We already have a clear road map to enable companies to manufacture 7nm and above chips within the next five to seven years. We are tying up the technology, and talks are under way. Our 15-year plan is aimed at making India a global player in this space.”
