Engineers and graduates, who are looking for an internship in machine learning have an opportunity to do so for free. AICTE supported TULIP portal has issued an opportunity wherein students can apply for the IBM Skillsbuild Internship Camp in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The virtual internship is around 8 weeks long, and participants will have to attend virtual mentoring sessions every week for 2 to 3 hours.
Apart from the mentoring sessions, the IBM Skillsbuild Internship Camp consists of structured self-learning, and during the remaining time interns are expected to make progress on their projects using the Platform. The AICTE portal mentions that there are around 1000 openings at present and interested participants will have to apply before 31 March 2023.

Candidates who wish to apply for the internship will have got be available for a period of 8 weeks, and have relevant skills and interests. Ideally, candidates who are pursuing technical education such as second, third or fourth year of BE or BTech, second or third year of BCA, or first and second year of MCA are eligible to apply. - Applications will require a recommendation from a competent authority of the concerned academic institution from where the candidate pursued his studies.
- The applicant will also be required to submit a synopsis on urban issued under 1000 words along with his or her application,

With the aim to help fresh graduates in India find internship opportunities in all urban local bodies and smart cities, IT companies and other institutes, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) launched an online portal for ‘The Urban Learning Internship Program (TULIP)’ in the year 2020. The portal was jointly launched by Ramesh Pokhriyal, Minister, Human Resource Development, Hardeep S Puri, MoS (I/C), Housing and Urban Affairs, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
