ECIL recruitment 2022 for engineers is currently underway for 150 new apprentice vacancies available in Hyderabad 

ECIL recruitment 2022 for engineers is being conducted for 150 new apprentice vacancies for which candidates with a graduation or diploma degree in engineering can apply. Those selected will be engaged under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for a period of one year Apprenticeship training at Hyderabad. Candidates selected for the graduate apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 9000 per month, and those selected for the diploma apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 8000 per month.

Who Can Apply for ECIL Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?

The latest ECIL recruitment notification says that there are 150 new apprentice vacancies out of which 145 are for Graduate Engineer Apprentices and 5 are for Diploma Apprentices. Candidates who have passed four years BE or BTech in engineering on or after 1 April 2019 from AICTE approved colleges or recognized Indian Universities for GEA, and in case of Diploma Apprentices, the candidates who have passed 3 years diploma in engineering on or after 1 April 2019 from the following streams can apply:

• Electronics and communication engineering.
• Computer science engineering.
• Mechanical engineering.
• Electrical and electronics engineering.

The tenure of the Apprenticeship will be for a period of one year only which will commence from 1 February 2022, says the notification. Furthermore, all qualifications should be from Indian Institutes recognized by the Appropriate Statutory Authority. The maximum age limit to apply for the vacancies is 25 years as on 31 January 2022. Nevertheless, the age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC non-creamy, and 10 years for PwD candidates.

How to Apply for ECIL Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications on the MHRDNATS portal before 18 January 2022. Candidates who have already undergone or who are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government or PSU or Private Organization are not eligible to apply, says the notification.
