ECIL recruitment 2021 is being conducted through walk-in-tests for four new Junior Artisan vacancies wherein candidates will be selected on a fixed tenure contract basis, for a period of one year, which is extendable depending on project requirements and the satisfactory performance of the candidate. Those selected will be engaged at sites or customer premises for the project requirements of the Servo Systems Division of the company at Mysuru and will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 18,564.
Who Can Apply for ECIL Recruitment 2021?
The latest ECIL recruitment notification says that there are four Junior Artisan vacancies for which candidates who have passed ITI of 2 years duration in the trade of fitter in first class with minimum one-year post qualification experience in the field of assembly of mechanical, precision mechanical components can apply. The candidates should not be over 25 years of age as of 31 August 2021.
However, the first-class requirement of the ITI degree will be relaxed to second class with 50% marks in aggregate for SC or ST candidates. Furthermore, age relaxation of 5 years for SC or ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 more years relaxation for the PwD category will be allowed. Also, the upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir from 01/ January 1980 to 31 December 1989.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to download the application form from the ECIL website, and attend the written test and trade test at 10:00 am on 17 September 2021 at ECIL Zonal Office, number 1/1, second floor, LIC Building, Sampige Road, Malleswaram, Bengaluru 560 003 with the duly filled in application along with the required original certificates and a set of self-attested photocopies.
