DRDO recruitment 2023 is being conducted for Scientist D and C vaccines available at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) at DRDO. INMAS is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, which is involved in nuclear medicine research and responding to nuclear accidents and explosions. While those selected for scientist c vacancies will receive a salary of Rs 67,700, those selected for scientist D will be paid Rs 78,800.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023?

The latest notification issued on the RAC website says that there are a total of three vacancies, out of which two are for Scientist C and one is for Scientist D. For the Scientist D vacancies, the qualifications required are as follows:

Radiology: A medical qualification Included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or the Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of medical qualifications included in Part II of the said Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Act. A post-graduate degree qualification in radiology is needed. In addition to this, seven years practical and administrative experience is a must in the required field of Radiology.

For the two Scientist C vacancies, the qualifications required as as follows:

Nuclear medicine: A medical qualification Included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or the Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of medical qualifications included in Part II of the said Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Act. Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications on the RAC website before 2 June 2023. General, OBC and EWS male candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee of Rs 100 while submitting applications.
