DRDO Recruitment 2023: Applications Invited for Research Vacancies, Salary Rs 31,000

DRDO recruitment 2023 has been announced at the Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE) for four new junior research fellow vacancies; however, the number of vacancies may increase or decrease. Walk-in interviews will be held for the vacancies, and selected candidates will be engaged for a period of two years. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 31,000. 

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023?

The latest notification issued on the DRDO website says that there are four vacancies for which candidates with the following qualifications can apply:

Polymer science, or chemistry: Postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline with first division along with NET qualification,

Textile engineering: Graduate degree in professional course such as BE or BTech in relevant discipline in first division with NET or GATE score, or postgraduate degree in professional course s such as ME or MTech in relevant discipline in first division both at graduate and postgraduate level.

Applicants cannot be over 28 years of age. However, an age relaxation of 5 years will be allowed for SC and ST candidates, and a relaxation of 3 years should be allowed for OBC candidates. Nevertheless, the OBC candidates in the creamy layer will not be eligible for age relaxation, says the notification.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to appear for a walk in interview at DMSRDE Transit Facility, Near DRLM Puliya, DMSRDE, GT Road, Kanpur 208004. Applicants will have to bring an application form with them along with all other relevant documents such as mark sheets, certificates, GATE, NET scorecard, and Aadhaar card among others.
