DRDO recruitment 2022 for engineers is underway for 7 new junior research fellow vacancies available in a DRDO centre in Bengaluru
DRDO recruitment 2022 for engineers is now being conducted at the Gas Turbine Reserach Establishment (GTRE), a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation located in Bengaluru. The centre mainly deals with design, development, manufacturing and testing of aero gas turbine engines for defence applications. There are 7 new junior research fellow vacancies at the centre at present wherein candidates will be engaged initially for a period of two years, which may be extended further up to a maximum of five years based on the performance of the candidates and project requirement. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 31,000.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?
The latest DRDO recruitment notification says that there are 7 new junior research fellow vacancies for which candidates with a with a BE or BTech degree in first division from AICTE accredited institutes or universities along with a valid GATE score or candidates with a postgraduate professional degree such as ME or MTech in first division in both graduate and postgraduate level from AICTE accredited institutes or universities from the following streams of engineering can apply:

The notification mentions that only GATE 2020 and 2021 scores will be accepted. Selected students may also enrol for MS or PhD during the tenure of their fellowship.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications on the official RAC website before 14 February 2022. Upon being intimated for an interview, all applicants are required to bring their original document along with self-attested copy of documents along with the signed printout of the application form during document verification.
