DRDO recruitment 2022 for engineers is currently underway at the Defence Food Reserach Laboratory for 17 new apprentice vacancies
DRDO recruitment 2022 for engineers is now being conducted at the Defence Food Reserach Laboratory (DFRL), which is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in Mysore. There are 17 graduate and technical apprentice vacancies for which candidates with a degree or diploma in engineering can apply. Those selected will be engaged for a period of one year, and while graduate apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 9000, technical apprentices will be paid Rs 8000.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?
The latest DRDO notification says that there are 17 new apprentice vacancies for which candidates with a BE or Tech in engineering or a diploma in engineering from the following streams can apply:

| BTech in bio-technology, bioinformatics, bio-engineering or biomedical engineering | 2 |
| BTech or BE in chemical engineering, polymer engineering, plastic engineering or polymer science | 2 |
| Diploma in mechanical engineering | 3 |
| Diploma in food and nutrition, hotel management or catering technology | 3 |
| Diploma in computer applications, electronics or communication engineering or information technology | 2 |
| Diploma in electrical engineering | 1 |
Only candidates who have passed out in 2021, and have registered on the MHRDNATS portal can apply. Selected candidates should have no prior job experience, or should not have undergone apprenticeship training elsewhere.
How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?
Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit applications on the RAC website before 3 March 2022. Only applications that have been locked will be considered says the notification. Those who wish to apply are advised to go through the official notification in detail for further information.
