DRDO Recruitment 2022: Applications Invited for Research Fellowship, Stipend Rs 31,000

DRDO recruitment 2022 is being conducted for junior research fellow vacancies available in DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory

DRDO recruitment 2022 has been announced at DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory - Cognitive Technology laboratory. The newly formed laboratory is involved in extensive research and development in the cognitive radio, cognitive radar and cognitive surveillance fields. Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of two years, which can be extended for two more years depending on the requirements of the project and the performance of the candidate. Those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022?

The latest DRDO recruitment notification says that there are junior research fellowship vacancies available for which candidates with a BE or BTech degree in computer science, computer engineering or information technology in first division from AICTE accredited institutes or universities with CSIR UGC-NET or GATE qualification or candidates with postgraduate degree such as ME or MTech in computer science, computer engineering or information technology in first division at both graduate and postgraduate level from AICTE accredited institutes or universities can apply. Furthermore, it is desirable for candidates to have the following qualifications: 

• Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms.
• Having excellent programming skills in C, C++, Python and HMI development.
• Experience in utilising open source system development framework.
• Knowledge of major machine learning algorithm.

Candidates cannot be over 28 years of age in order to apply for the posts. However, the age limit is relaxable for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
