DRDO Recruitment 2021: Students can Apply for New Apprenticeship Positions, Check Details

DRDO recruitment 2021 is underway for students for apprenticeship positions at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) centre the Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL), which is located in Maharashtra. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year and graduate apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9000, and technician apprentices will receive Rs 7000. Furthermore, there are apprenticeships available for candidates with a ten plus two qualification as well.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021?

Currently, there are a total of 14 apprenticeship positions, for which fresh graduates, candidates with an ITI certificate, as well those who have completed ten plus two can apply. The details of the vacancies available are as follows:

Only fresh graduates, who have obtained their degrees in 2017, 2018 and 2019, are eligible to apply. Also, an application from those with higher qualifications such as postgraduate degrees will be rejected says the notification. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in their qualifying examination, and no interviews will be conducted.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021?

Applications from eligible candidates will have to be sent through email along with the required documents in pdf format to dcparmar@nmrl.drdo.in before 27 March 2021. Prior to that, applicants should also get their names mandatorily registered with either apprenticeship.org website or MHRDNATS portal. Those selected will be engaged for a period of one year, after which no permanent employment will be offered at NMRL or DRDO.
