DRDO recruitment 2021 for Scientist B vacancies will soon be announced on the Defence Research and Development Organisation and Recruitment and Assessment Centre’s website depending on the requirement. However, to apply for the Scientist B vacancies interested applicants would be required to have a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.
Candidates will be selected for the vacancies based on their GATE score and their performance in a written test or interview. Only those candidates who possess valid GATE score on the crucial date of eligibility will be considered for shortlisting for written test or interview, says the latest notification from DRDO.
Furthermore, for vacancies in the discipline of psychology the recruitment will be based on the score obtained by the applicant in UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) in the subject of psychology and interview. The UGC NET scores should be available with the candidate on the crucial date of eligibility mentioned in the DRDO recruitment 2021 notification.
“All the aspirants are therefore advised to ensure that they possess a valid GATE qualification (for GATE disciplines) and a NET qualification for Associate Professor (for Psychology discipline) while applying for future vacancies,” adds the notification.
Candidates also need to note that entering incorrect or fake GATE scores can get the debarred from applying against any DRDO vacancy for a period of three years. Recently, DRDO debarred 6 candidates for filling incorrect GATE scores and uploading a modified GATE scorecard.
