DRDO recruitment 2021 is currently underway at the Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety (CFEES), which is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Located in Timarpur, Delhi, the main function of CFEES is the development of technologies and products in the area of explosive, fire and environmental safety. The vacancies available at present are 30 ITI apprentice positions wherein candidates will be engaged under the Apprentices Act 1961, 1973 or Apprentices Rules 1992. Selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of up to Rs 8050 based on their qualifications, and the post for which they apply.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021?

The latest DRDO recruitment notification issued on the RAC website says that there are 38 vacancies for which candidates with an ITI duly recognised by NCVT as per Gazette Notification on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship with minimum of two years duration, except for Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), can apply. The following are the details of the vacancies available:

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any organisation for any duration, or those with job experience of more than 1 year are not eligible to apply for the vacancies.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to apply online on the official RAC website before 29 August 2021. Prior to submitting applications, candidates will also have to make sure that they are registered on the NCVT MIS portal. Only candidates who have passed in 2019, 2020 and 2021 are eligible to apply. Those who wish to apply are advised to go through the official notification in detail prior to submitting applications.
