DRDO recruitment 2021 is currently underway at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), New Delhi for 14 research vacancies. The vacancies available are that of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA), and selected candidates will initially be engaged for a period of two years, which is extendable as allowed by rules. Candidates selected for the JRF vacancies will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 31,000 and those selected for RA vacancies will be paid Rs 54,000 per month. Furthermore, contingency grant and house rent allowance as allowed by rules will be given to selected candidates.
Qualifications Required to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021 at DIPR
The official notification available on the DRDO website says that there are 13 Junior Research Fellow vacancies, and one Research Associate. The qualifications required are as follows:
- For the 13 JRF vacancies candidates with a postgraduation in psychology or applied psychology with specialisation in organisation behaviour, social psychology or personality assessment with first division and NET qualification can apply. The applicant must not be over 28 years of age; however, the age limit is relaxable for SC and ST candidates by 5 years, and for OBC candidates by three years.
- For the RA vacancy candidates with a PhD in psychology can apply. The applicant must not be over 35 years of age; however, the age limit is relaxable for SC and ST candidates by 5 years, and for OBC candidates by three years.
Application Process for DRDO Recruitment 2021 at DIPR
Qualified applicants would be required to send their application for the format provided in the official notification before 15 February 2021. The application form will have to be sent by post along with a recent passport size colour photograph, and all educational documents to Director, DIPR, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi 110054.
