DRDO Recruitment 2021: Applications Invited for JRF Vacancies, Those Selected Can Do Their PhD at DRDO

DRDO Recruitment 2021: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from engineers who have completed their MTech as well as postgraduates who have completed their MSc and have a valid NET or GATE score for 11 new Junior Research Fellow vacancies. The DRDO JRF vacancies are available at the Defence Food Research Laboratory in Mysore. While those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000, they will also be given an opportunity to do their PhD in DRDO.

Who Can Apply for DRDO JRF Recruitment 2021?

As per the official notification available on the DRDO website, there are a total of 11 JRF vacancies for which candidates who have completed MTech in engineering or MSc with NET or GATE score from the following subjects can apply:

• Food technology
• Food science and technology
• Food science
• Food process engineering
• Food science and nutrition
• Food engineering
• Polymer science and technology
• Polymer engineering
• polymer science
• Biochemistry
• Biotechnology

The age of applicants should not exceed 28 years as on 25 April 2021. Nevertheless, age relaxation of 5 years for SC or ST, and three years for OBC candidates has been allowed as per Government of India rules.

Interested applicants need to first download the application form from the DRDO website. After that, the duly filled application forms along with self-attested photocopies of all the required documents will have to be sent by speed post to the Director, Defence Food Research Laboratory, Siddhartha Nagar, Mysore 570011 before 25 April 2021.
