DRDO recruitment 2021 is being conducted for engineers for junior research fellowships available at CEMILAC
DRDO Recruitment 2021 is currently underway for engineers for two junior research fellowships available at the Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC), which is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation that is responsible for airworthiness certification of military aircraft, helicopter, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), aero-engines, air launched weapons and other airborne stores. Those selected for the posts will have to enroll themselves for a PhD within six months, and will also be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2021?
The latest DRDO recruitment notification issued says that there are two junior research fellowships available at the centre for which candidates with the following qualifications can apply:
- BE or BTech in engineering in mechanical engineering in first division with NET or GATE qualification or ME or MTech in engineering in mechanical engineering with first division at both graduate and postgraduate level.
- BE or BTech in engineering in aeronautical engineering in first division with NET or GATE qualification or ME or MTech in engineering in aeronautical engineering with first division at both graduate and postgraduate level.
The candidates who wish to apply for the posts should not be over 28 years of age. However, an upper age relaxation will be allowed for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes or OBC categories. Furthermore, all the degrees mentioned should have been obtained from an AICTE accredited institute or university.

Interested and eligible candidates will have to send an application in the prescribed format along with the bio-data and testimonials by post to CEMILAC, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Marathahalli Colony Post, Bangalore 560037 before 14 October 2021.
