DRDO recruitment 2020 is currently being conducted for 116 ITI apprentice trainee vacancies at the Defence Research and Development Organisation centre Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai. Candidates who have the required qualification need to apply online on the official RAC website. Selected candidates will also be eligible for a stipend of up to Rs 8050.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Candidates with an ITI duly recognized by NCVT as per Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with minimum of two years duration except for the computer operator and programming assistant (COPA), painter, plumber, and welder, can apply for the 116 apprentice trainee vacancies. Furthermore, only candidates who have passed in the year 2017, 2018, and 2019 are only eligible to apply for the following vacancies:

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official RAC website before 3 April 2020 5 pm IST. Candidates need to first register with the RAC website by providing their accurate email address and password. The next step after registration would be to fill the biodata, uploading the relevant and required documents, and then locking the online application. Also, Registration of ITI candidates on NCVT MIS portal is mandatory, and the registration number is to be uploaded while filling the online application. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, and cannot claim employment in CVRDE or DRDO after the training period, says the notification. Those interested to apply for the vacancies are advised to go through the notification in detail and then apply on the official RAC website: www.rac.gov.in.
