DRDO Recruitment 2020: Online Application Date for 116 Apprentice Vacancies Extended

The online application date for DRDO recruitment 2020 at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s centre Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Chennai for 116 ITI apprentice trainee vacancies has now been extended. The last date for applications has now been extended to 17 April 2020 up to 5 PM IST. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year and will be paid a stipend of up to Rs 8050.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Candidates who have passed in the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 with an ITI duly recognized by NCVT as per Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with a minimum of two years duration except for the computer operator and programming assistant (COPA), painter, plumber, and welder, can apply for the 116 apprentice trainee vacancies. Selected candidates cannot claim employment in CVRDE or DRDO after the training period, says the notification.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Eligible candidates must have obtained a valid registration number after registering themselves on the NCVT MIS portal. After this, candidates need to fill an online application form available on the RAC website. To apply on the RAC website, applicants will need to fill the application form on Mozilla Firefox version 60 and Google Chrome version 60 or higher. Form submission will not work in Internet Explorer web browser, says the RAC website. It is mandatory for candidates to register with the RAC website to apply for the posts. After registration, candidates have to fill in all the details required on the Bio Data (the data filled may be saved), submit the photograph and documents, and finally lock their applications. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to go through the notification in detail before applying for the posts.
