DRDO recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted at the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) centre in Bengaluru, Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC). The vacancies available are that of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for which engineers and postgraduates can apply. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of two years, which is extendable, and be paid a stipend of Rs 54,000 per month for Research Associate and Rs 31,000 per month for Junior Research Fellow.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

According to the official notification issued on the DRDO website, there are two vacancies of Research Associate for which candidates with the following qualification can apply: PhD or equivalent degree in Electronics preferably in a Topic related to Microwave Engineering OR having three years of Research, Teaching, and Design an Development experience in Electronics preferably in Microwave Engineering after ME or MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI) journal.

There is also one JRF vacancy for which candidates with the following qualification can apply: Postgraduate degree (MSc or equivalent) in Chemistry with First Division with NET or GATE qualification.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates can appear for a walk-in-interview at the Centre for Learning and Development (CLD) Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore 560013. The interview for RA positions will be conducted on 23 January 2020, and for JRF position will be conducted on 24 January 2020. Candidates would be required to report at the venue prior to 9:30 am on the said dates. Those interested are advised to go through the notification in detail before applying for the posts.
