DRDO Recruitment 2020: Engineers Can Apply for New Research Vacancies in DRDO Centres, Salary Rs 31,000

DRDO recruitment 2020 for engineers will soon be conducted at two Defence Research and Development Organisation Centres at Delhi and Bangalore for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) vacancies. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the walk-in-interview. Selected candidates will be engaged on a temporary basis and will be paid a stipend of Rs 31,000 per month plus house rent allowance.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020 for Engineers?

According to the official notification issued on the DRDO website, there are vacancies at two DRDO centres. Two vacancies are available at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), Bengaluru, and four vacancies (number of openings are likely to increase) at the Defence Terrain Research Laboratory (DTRL) New Delhi.

For the vacancies at CAIR, Bengaluru the qualification required would be BE or BTech with CSIR-UGC (NET) or GATE qualification OR ME or MTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science in 1st Division both at graduate and post graduate level and both from AICTE accredited institute or university. More details on the job openings have been provided in the notification.

For the 4 vacancies at DTRL, New Delhi there are two vacancies for candidates with: MSc/MSc (Tech.) with 1st division graduate and post graduate level and valid NET/ GATE qualification/score or ME/MTech with 1st division at both graduate and post-graduate level.

There is one vacancy for candidates with a BE or BTech with CSIR-UGC (NET) or GATE qualification OR ME or MTech in civil engineering. Furthermore, there is another vacancy for be candidates with a BE or BTech with CSIR-UGC (NET) or GATE qualification OR ME or MTech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020 for Engineers?

For the vacancies at DTRL, Delhi interested and eligible candidates need to apply for a walk-in-interview to be conducted on 5 February 2020 at 09:15 am at DROMI, Delhi 110054. Candidates will be admitted from 9:15 am to 11:15 am only. Candidates need to bring all self attested copies of certificates to the interview. For the vacancies at CAIR, Bengaluru candidates need to first send a duly filled application, as per the format provided along with the advertisement, by e-mail prior to walk-in interview at ad_hrt@cair.drdo.in before 7 February 2020. The candidates may then appear for the interview on 15 February 2020.
