DRDO recruitment 2020 for engineers will be conducted at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s centre Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad. The vacancies available are that of junior research fellow and candidates will be engaged for a temporary period. Selected candidates will also be eligible for a stipend of Rs 31,000 plus house rent allowance as per DRDO rules.
Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?
The official notification that has been published in the employment newspaper says that there are a total of 10 vacancies available for which candidates with the following qualifications and below 28 years as on the closing date of advertisement can apply. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC or ST and by 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC.

In case a particular institute does not have any criteria for First class or Equivalent, 60% marks will be taken equivalent to First Class for that institute. In such cases where conversion formula is not available, CGPA or CPI of 6.75 for a 10 point scale will be taken as equivalent to 60%, says the notification.
