DRDO Recruitment 2020: Check Details of All Vacancies Available in DRDO Centres at Present

DRDO recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted at various centres of the Defence Research and Development Organisation for several junior research fellow and research associate vacancies. Those selected for the vacancies will be engaged for a temporary period, and will also receive a monthly salary of Rs 31,000 for junior research fellow, and RS 54,000 for research associate vacancies.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Currently, there are research vacancies available at four centres of DRDO. While some vacancies require for candidates to apply online, others require candidates to give video and even walk-in interviews. The details of the vacancies available are as follows:

1. There is one JRF vacancy available at the Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC), Bengaluru for candidates with a postgraduate degree in Chemistry with First Division along with NET or GATE qualification. Eligible candidates will have to appear for a walk-in-interview on 4 December 2020 at Centre for Learning and Development (CLD) Bharat Electronics Limited, Bengaluru. 2. There are several JRF vacancies at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) for candidates with a BE or BTech in electronics and communication engineering in first division with valid NET or GATE qualification or ME or MTech in electronics and communication engineering, applied electronics, opto-electronics, or instrumentation engineering, computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, rubber technology, polymer technology, or nanotechnology, Oceanography, ocean technology, meteorology, physics or applied physics. 3. There are 21vacancies at the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) in Hyderabad out of which 18 are for junior research fellows, and three are for research associates. Candidates with a BE or BTech, MSc, ME or MTech, or PhD in disciplines such as metallurgical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics and chemistry can apply for the vacancies. There is one vacancy for research associate and one for junior research fellow at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) for candidates with a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, bio-medical engineering and computer science, and for candidates with a BE or BTech in bio-medical engineering, computer science, cognitive neuroscience, electronic engineering with GATE (mandatory) Or MSc or MTech in cognitive neuroscience or neuroscience with NET.
