DRDO Recruitment 2020: Applications Invited from Retired Officials for Consultant Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 60,000

DRDO recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted for Consultant vacancies in the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) centre in Hyderabad and Delhi. DRDO has invited applications from retired officials from the central government, state government, PSU, and autonomous bodies, and candidates will be engaged on a contract basis. Those selected for the posts will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 60,000 based on their post and qualifications.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

The job notification issued on the DRDO website says that there are five vacancies available for which the required qualifications are as follows:

1. For one admin vacancy, the consultant is required to be conversant with Government rules and regulations, statutory provisions under Land acquisition laws.
2. For one technical vacancy, the consultant is required to be from preferably science or engineering background with knowledge of Radars and SAMs.
3. For another admin vacancy, the consultant is required to know about cadre management, recruitment rules, administrative and establishment matters and court cases related to these domains.
4. The fourth vacancy has to do with accounts and finance wherein the candidate is required to have practical knowledge and experience of handling accounts, financial matters, and documents of R&D projects.
5. The fifth vacancy is for administration and accounts where the applicant must have relevant experience in general administration, budget, project expenditure, audit requirements and accounts matters, along with a working knowledge of computers.

Interested and eligible retired officials of the central government, state government, PSU, and autonomous bodies would be required to submit their applications in the format provided in the official notification along with a copy of documents as referred in the application to the Director of each lab mentioned in the advertisement.
