DRDO Recruitment 2020: Applications Invited for 9 New Research Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 54,000

DRDO recruitment 2020 will soon be conducted for 9 research vacancies for a Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) project at Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur. The vacancies available are that of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and those selected will be engaged for a period of two years. Candidates will be selected through a walk-in-interview and will be paid a salary of Rs 54,000 for RA and Rs 31,000 for JRF.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

The notification issued on the DRDO website says that there are two RA vacancies available for which candidates with a PhD or equivalent degree on a topic related to thermoelectric materials or modules, or candidates MSc or MTech with three years relevant experience can apply.

There are four JRF vacancies for physics or material science for which candidates with an MSc in physics with NET, BE or BTech in material science, materials engineering, or nanotechnology in first division with NET or GATE qualification, or candidates with ME or MTech in material science, materials engineering, or nanotechnology in first division can apply.

There is also one JRF vacancies for candidates with an MSc in chemistry with NET, BE or BTech in chemical engineering, material science, polymer science, industrial chemistry, or nanotechnology with NET or GATE qualification, or ME or MTech in chemical engineering, material science, polymer science, industrial chemistry, or nanotechnology in first division can apply.

There are two JRF vacancies for candidates with BE or BTech in electronics, or electronics and communication in first division with NET or GATE qualification, or ME or MTech in electronics, or electronics and communication in first division can apply.
