DRDO recruitment 2020 is now being conducted at the Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL), which is a premier centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). There are 30 apprentice vacancies at present for the year 2020-21 for which candidates may send applications through email. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year, and will also receive a stipend of up to Rs 9000.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

The official notification says that candidates who have attained their respective degrees or certificates in 2017, 2018, 2019 from the following streams may apply against the vacancies:

Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2017 as well as those with post-graduation are not eligible to apply for the apprentice vacancies.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates will need to send an application form in the format prescribed on the DRDO website through e-mail to dcparmar@nmrl.drdo.in before the first week of December 2020. Scanned copies of applications along with the desired documents or certificates must be sent in PDF format. Applicants must have also registered their names at www.mhrdnats.gov.in for non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected, says the notification. Candidates will be selected for the apprenticeship based on the marks attained in their qualifying examination.
