DRDO Recruitment 2020: 167 Fresh Scientist B Vacancies Announced for Engineers and Postgraduates, Salary Rs 80,000

DRDO recruitment 2020 is going to be conducted for 167 fresh Scientist B vacancies for which engineers and postgraduates can apply. The vacancies have been notified by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC). Candidates in the final year or semester, or whose final examinations have been delayed and are expecting to achieve first-class after final examination can also apply for the posts. Selected candidates will be paid a salary of approximately Rs 80,000 per month.

The DRDO Recruitment 2020 notification issued on the RAC website says that for the 167 vacancies the candidates with the following qualifications can apply:

1. 37 are for candidates with an Electronics and Communication Engineering for which candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
2. 35 vacancies are for candidates with a t First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
3. 31 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering.
4. 12 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engineering.
5. 10 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy.
6. 8 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Physics.
7. 7 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry.
8. 6 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engineering.
9. 4 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Aeronautical Engineering.
10. 3 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil Engineering.
11. 4 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
12. 10 vacancies are for candidates with a First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology.

The above-mentioned degrees must be from a recognized university or equivalent, and GATE and NET scores are also required to apply for the Scientist B DRDO jobs.
