DRDO Recruitment 2019: Online Registration for Engineers for 40 Scientist Vacancies Begins on RAC

DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers being conducted by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) for 40 positions of scientists in the Defence Research and Development Organisation begins on 29 June 2019 at 9:30 am. RAC official website states that the link will be made available tomorrow and eligible candidates can start applying on the same. RAC has also provided guidelines on how to fill the online registration form.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2019 for Scientist?

As per the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification issued on the official RAC website, there are a total of 40 scientist vacancies available and have been segregated into the following categories: Scientist C, D, E and F. Different categories require different qualifications and experience, such as 2 vacancies of Scientist F for which for one post the eligibility would be first class bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Production and Industrial, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering. Also, “minimum 13 Years’ experience in the field of design or development or production of Mechanical / Aero Systems including Integration & assembly, Quality Assurance of Airborne Systems and Airworthiness certification aspects. Experience of Project Management, Planning, Administration & Liaison with external agencies, Operation and maintenance of Plant, equipment & Machinery. Experience in documentation procedures and preparation of user documents. Experience in production line and machine shops” says the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification.

There are also positions available for candidates with bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology in electronics and communication, electronics and telecommunication, electronics, or telecommunication engineering, computer science engineers, and candidates with Fire engineering, Fire Technology and Safety engineering, or Safety and Fire engineering.

How to Apply for the DRDO Recruitment 2019 for Scientist Online?

Eligible and interested candidates are advised to go through the DRDO recruitment 2019 for Scientist on the official Rac.Gov.in website or employment newspaper. The online registration links will be available at 9:30 am on 29 June 2019 and the last date to apply online would be 19 July 2019 5 pm IST. Only Indian nationals can apply for the DRDO Scientist vacancies. Application form will not work in Internet Explorer web browser. Recommended web browsers are Mozilla Firefox ver. 55 and Google Chrome ver. 55 or higher. The first step of online application form submission is "Registration". It is mandatory to register before filling the application form.

General, OBC and EWS male candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee of Rs 100 payable online only.
