DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers will be conducted by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), for the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru. There are 10 research positions of which 1 is of research associate (RA), and 9 are for junior research fellow (JRF). The candidate selected for the RA position will be eligible for a salary of Rs 54,000, and the candidates selected for the JRF positions will be eligible for a salary of Rs 31,000. House rent allowance and medical facilities will be provided as allowed by rules.
Who can Apply for the DRDO Recruitment 2019 for Engineers?
As per the official notification, the candidate applying for the research associate position should have PhD or ME/MTech in Material Science or Mechanical Engineering with experience in research and design related advanced composite materials.
For the 9 junior research fellow positions candidates with an electronics and communication engineering (3 positions), aeronautical engineering (2 positions), mechanical engineering (2 positions), and electrical and electronics engineering (2 positions) can apply for the posts. The degree can either be a BE or BTech in first division with GATE qualification, or ME or MTech with first division in both graduate and postgraduate levels.
