DRDO Recruitment 2019: Engineers can Apply for 6 Vacancies at SASE, Salary up to Rs 54,000

DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers will soon be conducted at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Snow & Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE). There are a total of 6 vacancies of which one is of Research Associate (RA), and five are for Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The candidates selected for the RA position will be eligible for a salary of Rs 54,000 and those selected for JRF will get a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2019?

As per the DRDO recruitment 2019 notifications, there are 6 vacancies for engineers and postgraduates. The eligibility criteria required for the Research Associate (RA) position is as follows: A doctorate degree (PhD) from a recognized university or institute in Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Electronics RA and Communication, with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI) Journal along with first-class MTech degree in the same fields.

There are three JRF positions for candidates with a postgraduate science degree in first division (both at graduate and postgraduate level) with NET or GATE in the fields of Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, or Geo-informatics, or ME or MTech in first division (both at graduate and postgraduate level) in the fields of Remote HRA Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Geo-informatics, or Computer Science. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 31,000.

There is another JRF vacancy for candidates with an MTech in first division (both at the graduate and postgraduate level) in Electronics and Communication or Electronics. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs 25,000.

Furthermore, there is another vacancy for candidates with a postgraduate science degree in first division (both at the graduate and postgraduate level) with NET or GATE in the fields JRF atmospheric sciences, meteorology, physics, or environmental science.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for a walk-in-interview, which will be conducted on 16 September 2019 at SASE-RDC, Chandigarh with typewritten applications with complete bio-data and attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, caste certificate, experience certificates, and publications if any addressed to Director, Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE), Research & Development Centre (RDC), Him Parisar, Sector 37A, Chandigarh (UT). Candidates are also required to bring a recent passport size photograph, duly affixed on the right top corner of the first page of the application.
