DRDO Recruitment 2019: Engineers can Apply for 6 Fresh Vacancies at DMSRDE, Salary up to Rs 54,000

DRDO recruitment 2019 for engineers and postgraduates for temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate will soon be conducted at the Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur. There are a total of 6 positions and selected candidates will be hired initially for a period of two years. Candidates would be selected based on a walk-in-interview, and the stipend would be Rs 31,000 per month for JRF and Rs 54,000 per month for RA position.

Who can Apply for the DRDO Recruitment 2019?

As per the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification, there are a total of 6 positions of which 5 are for JRF and 1 for RA. For the RA position, the eligibility criteria required is PhD in chemistry or materials engineering or having three years of research, teaching or design and development experience after ME/MTech from a recognized board or university.

For the JRF positions the eligibility criteria is as follows: graduate or degree in professional BE/BTech in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE or engineering ME/MTech in first division both at graduate and postgraduate level in mechanical engineering (2 positions) or chemical engineering (1 position).

There are also two JRF positions for two candidates with post graduation and NET qualification in the field of chemistry and physics.

Candidates first need to note that these positions are purely temporary and do not promise any regular absorption into DRDO. Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in-interview to be conducted at the DMSRDE Transit Facility (Near DRLM Puliya), DMSRDE, GT Road, Kanpur 208 004 for RA on 21 October 2019 9:00 am IST and for JRF on 22 October 2019 9:00 am IST along with a bio-data. The format for the bio-data has been enclosed in the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification. The application must clearly indicate the name of the fellowship or associateship applied for, and a recent passport size photograph and Xerox copies of testimonials must also be brought along.
