Another DRDO recruitment 2019 notification has been issued, and this time it is for the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s Centre for Fire Explosive and Environment Safety. There are a total of three vacancies for the position of Junior Research Fellows on a temporary basis. Candidates selected for the DRDO JRF vacancy are eligible to get paid a salary of RS 25,000 plus house rent allowance. The candidates would be selected based on a walk-in-interview.

As per the DRDO recruitment 2019 notification, there are a total of three DRDO JRF vacancies and the eligibility criteria for the same are as follows:
- Junior Research Fellow in Organic Chemistry: The candidate is required to have a first class Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with NET or GATE qualification. The date of walk-in-interview would be 24 June 2019.
- Junior Research Fellow in Inorganic Chemistry: The candidate is required to have a first class Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with NET or GATE qualification, and along with an experience in development of materials or composites. he date of walk-in-interview would be 24 June 2019.
- Junior Research Fellow in Civil Engineering: The candidate is required to have a first class graduate degree in Civil Engineering with NET or GATE qualification. . The date of walk-in-interview would be 25 June 2019.
The age limit for the DRDO JRF vacancy would be 28 years; however, it is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST, and by 3 years for OBC. Candidates need to also note that the notification clearly mentions those selected for JRF position have no claim whatsoever over regular absorption into DRDO.

Also, a crossed Indian postal order of Rs 10 drawn in favor of the Director, CFEES, Brig S K Mazumdar Marg, Delhi 110 054 needs to be brought along. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC are exempted from this payment, says the notification. All original certificates and testimonials need to be brought at the time of interview.
