A fresh DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification is out in the public domain. DRDO backed Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL) in Maharashtra is looking to hire engineers for four junior research fellow (JRF) positions. The JRF position would be valid for a period of two years and selected candidates are entitled to a salary of Rs 25,000 per month plus house rent allowance.
Who is Eligible to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2019 notification, Indian citizens who are28 years of age as on 31 May 2019, can apply for the DRDO JRF positions. Out of the four JRF positions available, one is for mechanical engineers who have either a ME or MTech in Mechanical Engineering in first division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level; or, BE or BTech graduates in Mechanical engineering with a first class degree and a valid NET/GATE score.
The second JRF position is open to candidates with an ME or MTech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering ;or, BE or BTech graduates with a first class degree and a valid NET/GATE score.
There are two JRF positions available for candidates with an ME or MTech in Chemical Engineering in first division; or, BE or BTech graduates in Chemical engineering with a first class degree and a valid NET/GATE score.
How to Apply for the DRDO JRF Vacancy?
Eligible candidates need to email their bio-data in the prescribed format to hodcomp@nmrl.drdo.in by 22 May 2019. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their NET or GATE score, and the documents furnished by them. Selection of the candidates will be made based on their performance in the walk-in-interview. The notification also makes it very clear that selected candidates will not have any right on absorption into DRDO. The walk-in-interview will be conducted on 31 May 2019 at 9:00 am at Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL), Shil Badlapur Road, Ambernath (East), Thane, Maharashtra.
