DRDO has invited applications for Junior Research Fellowship in its centre Microwave Tube Research and Development Centre (MTRDC)
DRDO has announced the availability of Junior Research Fellowships at its centre in Bengaluru, the Microwave Tube Research and Development Centre (MTRDC). Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of two years, which may be extended further based on the performance of the candidates and project requirements. Those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 plus house rent allowance as allowed by the rules of the Defence Reserach and Development Organisation.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Research Fellowship?
The latest DRDO research fellowship notification says that Indian Nationals who desire of pursuing research in the field of vacuum electronic devices encompassing multidisciplinary field of material science, ultrahigh vacuum, physical electronics, microwave engineering, electro-magnetics, particle-in-cell and computer aided design or simulation may apply for the posts. Candidates with the following qualifications may apply for the research fellowship:
- Postgraduate degree such as MSc in microwave science or electronics with first division with NET qualification, BE or Tech degree in microwave engineering or electronics engineering with first division along with NET or GATE score, or ME or MTech degree in microwave engineering or electronics engineering with first division in both graduate and postgraduate level.
- BE or Tech degree in mechanical engineering with first division along with NET or GATE score, or ME or MTech degree in mechanical engineering with first division in both graduate and postgraduate level.
Applicants should not be over 28 years of age; however, an age relation of five years will be allowed for SC, ST and PH candidates, and of three years for OBC candidates will be allowed as per the Government of India rules.
How to Apply for DRDO Research Fellowship?
Interested and eligible candidates will have to appear for a walk-in-interview to be conducted on 10 and 11 January 2022 at Centre for Learning and Development (CLD) Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore 13, Near BEL Circle Bus Stop.
