DRDO apprenticeship 2023 is being conducted at the Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) in Bangalore
DRDO apprenticeship 2023 is currently underway for 8 graduate apprenticeship trainee vacancies for which candidates will be selected for period of one year and engaged at the Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) in Bangalore. DEBEL is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) that is engaged in developing life support systems, biomedical devices, environmental protection systems, and aircrew protective systems. Those selected will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 9000.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2023?
The notification issued on the DRDO website says that there are 8 apprentice vacancies available for which candidates with a BE, BTech, BSc, BLib or BCom can apply. The details of the vacancies available are as follows:

Some Important Conditions to Remember
Those who wish to apply for the DRDO apprenticeship need to note that apart from the mentioned eligibility criteria, the following conditions also need to be met:
- Candidate should not have undergone apprenticeship training elsewhere.
- Candidate should not have work experience of one year or more.
- Candidate should have obtained the qualifying degree after 2020.
How to Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2023?
Interested and eligible candidates need to first get themselves registered on the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) portal. After that, applicants will have to send their duly filled applications along with all supporting documents scanned in a single PDF file to hrd.debel.debel@gov.in before 20 January 2023. Candidates will be shortlisted for the apprenticeship based on the marks obtained in their degree, and may have to also attend an in person interview to be held at DEBEL.
