DRDO Apprenticeship 2021: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from engineers and technicians for a one-year apprenticeship training at Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE), Chandipur, which is a centre of DRDO engaged in dynamic test and evaluation of armament systems. There are a total of 62 apprentice trainee positions available under which selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year. Those selected for the technician diploma apprentice positions will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 8000, and those selected for technician ITI apprentice positions will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 7000.
Who can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2021 at DRDO Centre PXE?
The official notification published on the DRDO website says that there are a total of 62 apprentice trainee positions available out of which 39 are for technician diploma apprentices and 23 are for technician ITI apprentices. For the 39 technician diploma apprentice positions candidates with a diploma obtained after 2018 in the following streams can apply:

How to Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2021?
Applicants would be required to first register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal for the technician diploma apprentice positions and on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal for technician ITI apprentice positions. After registration, candidates need to send an application form in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents in a PDF file by email to director@pxe.drdo.in before 27 February 2021.
How will Candidates be Shortlisted for DRDO Apprenticeship 2021?
After the applications have been submitted, the selection board of PXE will go through the profiles and shortlist candidates based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations. Marks obtained in lower classes and mathematics, science and English in class ten exams will be considered in case there is a tie. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed through email.
