DRDO apprenticeship 2021 recruitment is currently underway for 150 apprentice vacancies for which engineers and technicians can apply online on the official Recruitment and Assessment Centre of the Defence Research and Development Organisation. The apprentice vacancies are available at the DRDO centre Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE). Selected candidates will be engaged for a temporary period and be paid a stipend of Rs 7000 for ITI candidates, Rs 8000 for diploma candidates and Rs 9000 for graduate engineers.
Who can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2021?
The online applications for 150 apprentice vacancies have already begun on RAC website, and the details of the vacancies are as follows:
There are 80 vacancies available for candidates with a BE, BTech or equivalent in engineering, in the following fields granted by a statutory University by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament:

There are 30 vacancies available for candidates with a diploma in engineering or technology in the following fields granted by a state council or board of technical educational established by a state government, university, and so on:

There are 40 vacancies available for candidates with a vocational course in the following streams involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education:

Registration of BE, BTech or Diploma candidates on (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and ITI candidates on Apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org) is mandatory prior to applying on the RAC website.
How to Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2021?
Interested and eligible candidates need to submit the online application form along with all relevant documents on the RAC website before 29 January 2021. Candidates would be required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE. Prior to applying for the vacancies, applicants are advised to go through the official notification in detail.
