DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Applications Invited for One Year Training at DRDL, Stipend to Be Given

DRDO apprentice recruitment 2022 is currently underway for ITI candidates at the Defence Reserach Development Laboratory

DRDO apprentice recruitment 2022 is being conducted at present for ITI apprentices as the Defence Reserach Development Laboratory (DRDL), which is a centre of the Defence Reserach and Development Organisation (DRDO) situated in Hyderabad. Selected candidates will be engaged under the Apprentices Act 1961 for a period of one year, and will also be paid a monthly stipend as allowed by rules. Only candidates who have not undergone or presently undergoing apprenticeship training in DRDL or elsewhere can apply.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2022?

The latest DRDO apprentice recruitment notification says that there are several apprentice positions available for candidates who have passed from National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) from the following streams of ITI can apply:

• Fitter.
• Turner.
• Machinist.
• Pattern maker (including carpenter).
• Welder.
• Electrician.
• Diesel mechanic.
• Electronics mechanic.
• Attendant operator chemical plant.
• Painter.
• Computer operator and programming assistant (COPA).
• Draughtsman (civil).

“The training of the Apprentice will be terminated without intimation following unauthorized absence of the candidate to training for a period of more than 15 days,” says the notification. Furthermore, the notification also says that completion of training does not entitle the candidates any right to claim temporary or permanent job in DRDL. 

How to Apply for DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2022?

Interested and eligible candidates will have top submit applications to The Director, DRDL, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad 58 before 31 January 2022. The closed envelop must be super scribed with “Application for ITI apprenticeship at DRDL for the period 1 APR 2022 to 31 MAR-2023”.
