DRDO apprentice recruitment 2021 will soon be conducted at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s centre Instruments Research and Development Establishment (IRDE). There are a total of 69 apprentice vacancies available for which engineers, technicians and those with a nursing degree can apply. Selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year and technicians will be paid a stipend of Rs 7000, diploma apprentice will be paid a stipend of Rs 8000, and technician apprentice will be paid Rs 9000.
Who can Apply for DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2021?
According to the official notification issued on the DRDO website, there are a total of 69 vacancies out of which 20 are for ITI candidates, 31 for candidates with a diploma in engineering, 16 are for graduate engineers and 2 are for candidates with a nursing degree or diploma. For the technician vacancies, candidates who are ITI pass with NCVT can apply; for the diploma technician apprentice vacancies, candidates with a diploma in engineering can apply; for the technician (vocational) training vacancies, applicants are required to have ten plus two as well as a degree or diploma in nursing; and for the graduate apprentice vacancies, candidates are required to have a BE, BTech or AMIE in engineering in the above-mentioned subjects.
How to Apply for DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2021?
Candidates who are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship training need to first get themselves registered on the MHRDNATS portal for graduate and diploma apprentice, and the apprenticeshipindia.org portal for technician apprentice vacancies. After registration, candidates are required to send the scanned copies of their duly signed applications along with all the relevant documents in a single pdf file by email to cao@irde.drdo.in. The duly signed application and educational documents are also required to be sent by post to IRDE.
