DRDO Apprentice 2019: Engineers and Technicians can Apply Online for 230 Apprentice Positions

DRDO apprentice 2019 vacancies have been announced and there is a huge requirement of as many as 230 apprentices at the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) and Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) centers in Bengaluru, Karnataka. While there are 80 vacancies at ADE, there are 150 vacancies at GTRE. DRDO apprentice 2019 vacancies have been divided into graduate apprentice, technician apprentice and trade apprentice vacancies eligible for a stipend of Rs 4984, 3542, and 80% or 90% of the wages payable per month to the semi-skilled workmen as fixed by latest Karnataka Government as applicable.

Who can Apply for the DRDO Apprentice 2019 Vacancies?

As per the official notifications available on RAC website, there are vacancies available in ADE and GTRE, the total of which amounts to 230 positions. Of the 230 positions:

1. 120 are graduate apprentice which require a degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament. Candidates with engineering degrees in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Production, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics ∧ Instrumentation, Telecom, Computer Science, Metallurgy, Civil and so on can apply.
2. There are 50 diploma apprentice positions for candidates with a diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government, University, and so on in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and so on.
3. There are 60 ITI or trade apprentice trainee positions for candidates with a certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education. The trade apprentice positions available are Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Machinist, Fitter, Electronics mechanic and so on.

Registration of BE, BTech, or Diploma candidates on www.mhrdnats.gov.in and ITI candidates on NCVT MIS portal https://ncvtmis.gov.in is mandatory for DRDO apprentice 2019 positions.

How to Apply for the DRDO Apprentice 2019 Vacancies?

Interested and eligible candidates who have passed in the year 2017, 2018, or 2019 are advised to go through the DRDO apprentice 2019 notification available on https://rac.gov.in in detail before applying for the posts. The online registration link will be made available on 26 August 2019 at 9:30 am and will conclude on 7 September 2019. The list of selected candidates will most likely be announced on 20 September 2019, who would be required to join within 21 days of the announcement of results.
