First
and foremost companies must have a
recovery plan. Having a right plan at
the the right time is the need of the hour. Every businesses must do
an audit of their critical applications and business process and
assign a recovery time objective for each of these processes. It is
very important to have visibility and capability of the DR solution.

keep working on production. They need to invest in tools and provide

started with the value proposition to address disaster recovery (DR)
market. We started doing huge projects in DR and realized that there
was no tool and everything was manual. Sanovi's products came out to
address the gap where manual work could be avoided. Most IT heads in
an organization do not have much visibility, as to how much time
would it take to recover the data and what data they are going to
lose. Large enterprises have lot of resources and managing all
resources is a big task. IT is moving towards 24/7 capability but
are struggling how to manage their data. Sanovi products gives
visibility to IT managers and CIOs and the ability from a recovery
readiness perspective on a real time basis. It also helps them to
dramatically reduce the dependence on expertise by automating the
whole step. However DR is still a board level decision, however the
importance of DR tools is being realized in several verticals. Most
of the environment are heterogeneous, and there is a need for a
expertise to address the challenges in such an environment.

Which
are the verticals
you are targeting? Who are your major customers?
We
presently are targeting verticals such as
manufacturing,
telecom, and healthcare. We are also working on some e-governance
projects. APDRP project is one such e-governance project we are
working on for the Ministry of Power. The goal of the project is to
increase efficiencies in power transmission and distribution and cut
down losses to 10-15%. We have successfully carried out a project for
HDFC Bank where the organization was able to achieve 100% increase in
frequency of DR drills and reduce 85% application fail over time.
ICICI Bank, Corporation Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Vijaya Bank, Yes
Bank, Bank of Baroda, L&T, and Essar are few of our clients. We
are also targeting SMEs as well.
