It was a year of strategic re-alignment of HR processes for Span, and in line with that it factored in various aspects of its HR and tweaked them towards closer employee-manager relations. As a part of its HR initiative, Span aligned its HR around what it calls ‘BeeHR'. The company believes with this initiative in place it will be able to forge c loser relations with the employees and address some of the areas where it scored low such as feedback from managers to training, recognition for the work done, etc.

On the training front, which is critical for any company to keep its employees abreast with the required skill sets, the company is going aggressive with its initiative-Span Siksha. SPAN has put in place a semester system for its training and every employee has to complete the training schedule requirments.

The company improved on compensation-which saw low scores last year. It gave good hikes leading to overall higher satisfaction on this parameter. As usual on the ‘work environment' and ‘a feeling of professional achievement

side', the company scored high.
