Going Digital- what does it mean to you and your organization?

We live in the digital age and there is a need for every company to have business strategy which is relevant for the digital age. KPIT is a technology leader in automotive and transportation domain and we embrace digital technologies to solve customer problems in an innovative way. Going Digital means improving the pace of innovation, converting every service into experience, improving ‘in the moment’ effectiveness of the employees by providing real time insights and making invisible visible. Digital should be used for Automating tasks, Augmenting processes and amplifying jobs.

What is your Digital Transformation plan, strategy and the deliverables you expect or already coming in?

Two years ago, at KPIT we started our digital journey by envisioning Smart Enterprise. Smart Enterprise consisting of Smart Campus, Smart Collaboration, Smart business applications, Smart Insights, Smart workforce, Smart relationships and Smart Infrastructure. We have made substantial progress in all the areas. We are early adopter of Enterprise Hybrid cloud and Nutanix technologies are core to our cloud infrastructure.

We have adopted softwaredefined approach and built digital infrastructure consisting of Hyperconverged infra in Datacentre, Software defined security and campus network. We started integrating diverse infrastructure solutions on cloud platform giving more power to developers in dynamic provisioning and managing infrastructure from code. We have also built intelligent ERP using SAP S/4 Hana as our System of records which is integrated with KPIT’s system of engagement and system of intelligence built using cloud native technologies. At KPIT, we also have very high focus on building #Think Digital culture where every employee has to complete Digital certifications to become DigiChamp. In last 4 months, we have 10000+ employees completed digital certifications and became DigiChamp. We have rolled out various reskilling programs for employees for learning cognitive technologies, Miroservices and cloud native application architectures, DevSecOps and various new generations languages.
