DigiLocker Invites Online Applications from Designers for Internship with Indian Government

DigiLocker has invited online applications from “skilled and motivated young people” to serve as interns at the National eGovernace Division (NeGD) of the Indian Government for the DigiLocker project. The selected interns will get to work for 6 to 12 months on citizen centric applications built by the Government of India.

Interns will work on a voluntary basis, and will not receive any wages from the government. Furthermore, candidates selected for the vacancies will work from home and the OpenForge platform will be utilized by the interns for collaboration and to submit their work for review. DigiLocker also does not provide any promise of employment once the internship ends.
