Dhiraj Lal has joined Agilent Technologies as Director—Credit, Collections and
Program Management, at its Gurgaon office. Lal, who will be part of the
company's senior management team, has 17 years experience in the corporate
sector, and has earlier worked with the American Express Financial Center,
Citibank NA and Standard Chartered Bank, both in India and overseas.
Lal is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and is
also a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Information
Systems Analyst (CISA) and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. At Agilent he will be
responsible for Credit and Collections for the Global hub operations.
Agilent Technologies has also announced the appointment of
Venkatesh Valluri, as its president and country general manager (CGM) for India.
Valluri takes over responsibilities from Kewal Khanna, who retired recently
after a long sales management career with HP/Agilent. Possessing over 20 years
experience in management roles, Valluri is currently the managing director of
Agilent Technologies International (ATI). He will continue in that role as well
as assume responsibilities as the India CGM.
