Defence Institute of Advanced Technology Invites Applications for Online Course on Artificial Intelligence

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), an autonomous organization fully funded by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is currently accepting applications online for a short term online course on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Participants who successfully complete the online training will receive certificates from DIAT.

Who can Apply for the Online Course on Artificial Intelligence by Defence Institute of Advanced Technology?

The 12 week course, which will be conducted two hours a day for five days a week, is open to graduates from any discipline. However, learners will be required to take a test to get selected for the online course on artificial intelligence, for which knowledge of any programming language, basics of algorithms, basics of databases, data structures, modular mathematics, statistics, and probability theory is required.

What Will be Taught in the Online Course on Artificial Intelligence by Defence Institute of Advanced Technology?

Students who get selected for the course will be taught a mix between fundamentals and advanced topics of various domains of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Some of the topics that will be covered are probability theory, pattern recognition, big data analytics, computer vision, natural language processing, augmented reality, deep learning and other related advancements in the domain, says DIAT.

Important Dates and Other Details

Interested students would be required to register on the official website before 15 August 2020, and the entrance test will be conducted on 23 August 2020 at 3 PM IST. The online course on artificial intelligence will commence on 1 September 2020. The fee for the course is Rs 17,700. Those who are interested to take the course are advised to go through the official notification in detail.
